This is a great opportunity for you to make your voice heard- to those who directly represent YOU and your community!
Join MCPGV this October as we discuss one of the most pressing issues, ERPO, with our Representatives!
We will go in groups to speak with elected officials from your specific district to educate and stress the importance of Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO), and why they should support bill HB 4283.
Information and talking points will be provided- you just need to show up!
We will meet at the United Central Methodist Church at 8:30am (breakfast will be provided). You'll have the opportunity to hear from leading legislators- Rep Sarah Anthony, Rep Julie Brixie, and Senator Rosemary Bayer and their take on ERPO and the issue of gun violence before we head to the Capitol. We will also provide a packet with relevant information and talking points for you to reference.
Don't forget to invite your friends and family- this is our chance to push for Extreme Risk Protection Orders!
